Hiring a website designer can be challenging and frustrating to find the right company that you can trust.
Here’s an email to a potential client after our initial meeting of discussing the design of a website for their company.
“Nice to meet you this morning.
As we discussed your next steps will be to get a list of what pages (page names) and functionality for each page will be for the site.
Also, search the internet for other websites you all like and why. This will give us an idea of the design of the website.
After you’ve completed this then we’ll work together to get an idea of the design of the site and any functionality we see you may need on the site for now and in the future.
Also, you can do a search for a domain that you feel is fitting. You can search for a domain here.
If you find a domain that you like it’s best to register it immediately but not hastily.
I’m a reseller for GoDaddy and I get better rates for most of their services even though GoDaddy may have a sale you will pay the price later at renewal time.
So when you get those ideas of available domains please let me know and we’ll work together to purchase a domain(s).”
